Gennady Golovkin vs. Hassan N’Dam Is Possible For June 8th
Gennady Golovkin vs Hassan N’Dam is possible for June 8th. Hassan recently sign a contract with DAZN and is being matched with Golovkin. The fight would be happening on June 8th so that it wouldn’t clash with Tyson Fury’s match on June 15th.
When & Where?
Golovkin’s match details haven’t been decided yet but the date and venue will be announced soon. GGG is looking forward to fight in his favorite venue Madison Square Garden in New York but that is also not confirmed yet. Golovkin’s management will be going to New York to get the fight for June 8 but if that date wasn’t available, they will try to get June 14.
Is N’Dam A Good Match For Golovkin?
Hassan is a skilled fighter. He is currectly ranked #3 in WBC at middleweight. His last fight was against five times world title challenger Martin Murray and he won the match by a 12 round majority decision in Martin’s home country England. It is very difficult to beat him in his country but Hassan clearly out boxed him.
It pretty obvious that N’Dam is not as good as Golovkin, Canelo, Andrade and Jermall but he has a style of his own. Fans even think that GGG’s previous decided opponent Brandom Adams is even better than N’Dam and he also not as popular as Adams is. But N’Dam is a two times Olympian.
Adams Refused To Fight GGG
Brandon Adams was given the chance to fight GGG but he refused and decided to fight Jermall instead. N’Dam deserves to fight GGG more than Adams as he has more big wins to his name than Adams as a pro. N’Dam’s amateur career was also great as he is a two times Olympian.
Tipple-G Needs A Tune-Up
GGG really needs to get back in the ring and N’Dam is a perfect tune up opponent before the Trilogy Fight. His out since last September after losing to Canelo in a 12 round majority decisionAfter that his network HBO also decided to get out of boxing business. So GGG was without a network and it took him month to decide which one to go for. He ended up signing a 6 figure 3 year 6 fights deal with DAZN.
Nonetheless N’Dam is a perfect opponent for GGG because his fighting style is very unique. He frustrates his opponents with jabs and he moves around a lot. So Golovkin will have to take the fight to him if he want to beat the French boxer.
Golovkin vs Szeremeta Is Possible If N’Dam Couldn’t Happen
The Golovkin vs N’Dam fight isn’t confirmed yet but if it doesn’t happen he will have to take on Kamil Szeremeta which would be a big step down from N’Dam as he doesn’t have any big fights to his name and it would be too easy for GGG.
The only positive in this fight would be that Szeremeta is unbeaten with a record of 19-0 and ranked #2 in WBA and WBC. And GGG can get a lot of appreciation for ruining his perfect record.
How will this fight end? Can N’Dam pull off a Knock-out at GGG?
