Golovkin Shows Great Strength Against Heavyweight Malik Scott
Heavyweight Malik Scott posted a video of himself and Golovin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) the former IBF/WBA/WBC middleweight champion testing their strengths and showed him how powerful he is. Golovkin will be coming back to the ring on June 1st. It is rumored that GGG will be fighting either Brandon Adams or Kamil Szeremeta. But GGG’s main focus is the Trilogy fight against Saul Canelo Alvares in September.
Golovin showed some real strength in the grip test and then went to the right for some MMA
Golovin had been taking time off since his controversial 12 round majority decision loss against Saul Canelo. Most of the fans thought that Golovin won the fight but the judges thought otherwise. GGG should have won tha fight or at least left with a draw. Maybe the judges were impressed by Canelo’s ability to take on a boxer like GGG and give him a hard time. But he clearly didn’t win that fight according to majority of the boxing fans.
What The Fans Think About GGG
Even though GGG fought well in the first two fights against Canelo but some of the the boxing fans are writing him off for the third fight. And think that he is not the same fighter he was before.
The Trilogy Fight In September
Its likely that the Trilogy fight will also happen again at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. GGG has that he learned a lot from his first fight. And what he really learned is not to let Canelo back him up at any point in the fight and jab his way to victory like Mayweather did in lopsided 12 round decision in 2013. To make sure that GGG wins the fight, he will have to take the fight to Canelo and not back up and make sure that he wins the rounds by his power punches.
Danny Garcia’s Thoughts About Golovin
“He’s a good fighter. He’s not overrated,” Danny Garcia said to Fighthub about Golovkin. He can fight. GGG can fight.”
Says the former WBC Welterweight Champion Danny Garcia.
